SCHRIBER APM6855

    HI
    we have a schrieber apm6855 which freezer running fine fridge not cold
    test components all tested ok replaced main pcb but fridge still not getting cold
    are we missing something as the air is not blowing up into fridge fan is running
    anybody got any ideas

    how did you “test” the components? Especially the fan motor ?? Have you seen it run??

    yep same as rocketman dont believe getting a resistance over the fan motor makes it ok use a magnet on the freezer door so you can visually check fan motor operation
    was also told during mfi days by there tech dept if the sensor in the fridge failed its unrepairable as the part is foamed in. ❓

    attach a fly lead to the motor to run it directly from the mains-might be easier to remove it and secure the motor then test it….. get back and let us know…

    i would check the back of freezer for ice
    had a few integrated f/freezers just needing defrosting due to ice stopping the airflow getting into the fridge

    Hi all,
    I have seen a few of these and have noticed the fans run slow almost polling! even to the point that the blade rocks as if stuck between fields…Stick a whilpool encapsulated frost free motor on and you wont see this happen again…
