    Any experiences with the following fault;

    Set machine going. Starts / fills up / turns drum / starts to heat etc and all seems okay.

    Then, after anywhere between 20 mins and 40 mins, the machine resets itself. Display then shows time remaining as time if currently selected cycle was restarted (ie if you select Cotton 40oC then is starts at 1hr 57 mins and counts down as cycle progresses. However when it resets time goes back to 1 hr 57 mins again) Cycle is selected via mechanical dial in centre of panel.


    Any ideas / experiences

    Since fault occurs just after starting to heat it suggests that heating element or poss. thermistor/connections may be implicated. Would suggest megger heater and change if under 40Mohm. (Check it when it’s warm.) Also check thermistor & connections between it and board.
