    Hi

I’ve got the above appliance which dates back to 2001 and has served me without compliant however it now does not appear to heat up the water. The cycle still completes but the dishes are dirty and the tablets are not dissolving. Does this sound terminal?

    Thanks

    Ade

You need to check the resistance of the heating element which is on the RHS
face on and just behind the main circulation motor.
Plug out,lid off and side panels off.

If you are not confident of doing this yourself then perhaps you should
use the contact an engineer link…….

This is still a good machine however the price of a new element assembly
is reasonably priced (cough) at around the £100 so unless you can pickup
a 2nd hand one it is prob landfill time.

DIY wise its not too bad a job….getting the part at a sensible cost is a little harder!

It’ll be the usual underfilling issue. Lots of posts refer.
