I have got a customer with a clapped out Hoover A3616 W/m that is only 59cms wide. Sadly she cannot buy a Bosch machine ‘cos they (apparently) are around 61cms wide? I am pretty sure she only has just about a 60cms gap to slot a new machine in. What can she get that is equal to her old Hoover machine I wonder?

Almost all machines should be a standard Euro box, fitting in side a 600x600x850 space and I’ve not seen any that are different for a long time Martin. The problem used to be with the old Servis machines when they got swapped out more.

As K says “eurobox size” is 60cm I have found some slightly under but Bosch is 60cm wide exactly. AEG @ 59.7cm, Hotpoint @ 59.5cm,
    Miele @ 59.5cm, Samsung @ 59.7cm and Whirlpool @ 59.7cm . Hope this is of some help.

It is thanks Don, I always knew that m/c’s were a standard 600X600X820ish but didn’t realise the older generation ‘Matchbox’ Hoover was less than that and in this case fitted into a ‘feet & inches’ 26year old kitchen. So sadly the lady has got to get a man in to carve the cupboards about to shove a new box in then 😥
