Hotel next door are complaining about poor spin performance. I don’t know much about these machines although I did once change a solenoid valve on it. Any suggestions of things to check? Is there a filter somewhere? Can go and get model number if required.

Worth checking gearbox clutch coupling. They are plastic and break and will affect motor action.

Set it going on a spin then give it a few minutes switch off then tip it back and have a feel of the clutch drive (thats the shiny metal cup just above the gearcase)

If its mad hot then the clutch drive shoes are shot and the clutch ssembly needs replacing.

Not to be confused with the drive coupling which is often wrongly identified as a clutch but which simply breaks and all drive is lost.

Also check if the drum has dropped and is catching in the bottom of the wash tub.

If so replace basket support and nut
