i can’t stop my rs21 from freezing up so as it’s now seven years old i’m going to take it outside and shoot it
unfortunately my kitchen is built around a 900mm f/f so i need to replace it with something similar
can any one offer advice on which make and model are worth buying?
it would be appreciated as they cost a lot of money

    best regards

    Hi

I have a similar problem despite changing, the cover, defrost heater, sensors. Mine is just under 5 years old.

The fridge is fine, only the blooming freezer. Once defrosted, it will work perfectly for 2 weeks and then it plays up again. I was told maybe the temperature of -20C is too low, will try at -15C and see what happens once it has been defrosted. If not will have to get another one but what make. I am in a quandry like yourself.

    Hi

American versions appeared first then the Koreans like Samsung, Daewoo and LG copied them to produce them far cheaper. Resulting in failure and repair issues which can be found in numerous threads in this forum.

If your`e budget is under a grand and you want a reliable quality product you will probably not find it in a Korean clone. Best to wait a little longer and keep a look out for any clearance deals on old “American ” ones.

A peek at our guide on American side by side refrigeration is a good read.
