    Hi guys. 😀

I`ve got some strange problems on this one.

The delay timer will not go above 18 minutes.
The reset procedure will not reset.
Any programme selected will only start on rinse.
What ever I do it will not reset.

I`ve allowed the delay timer to count down but still nothing happens.

Is it the main module suspended above the tub and if so,how much are they?.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Chris.

Sounds like the main module, part number 26 3909, retail price inc vat = £173.18. from http://www.bshappliancecare.co.uk

    Chris,

This seems illogical I know but disconnect the connections to the double valve, then try resetting. A high resistance in one valve coil can cause similar symptoms (= new valve) 😉

    One more thought Chris,

These machine are prone to air chamber blockages and heaters shorting? But I guess you have already checked that possibility 😉

The only time I have changed a Module is when the motor has blown it up!

Have you run its diagnostic program? If so what did the last fault listed show?

As for these power boards… I have replaced quite a few. The early ones were quite weak whereas the newer ones are better.

The reset procedure will not reset.

Generally speaking all Bosch electronics will reset by turning selector to X and pressing start button.
Programme will then restart until panel detects fault when it then trips again.
If it will not reset then its 99.99999999999999{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} panel fault

To put the machine in diagnostic mode.. make sure all buttons unlit, and dials to off m(selection).Press the prewash button and the start buttons and turn on the machine. To set it to a test programme, turn selector switch to requred setting and press start.

When you first activate the diagnostic mode
you should get a number displayed in the 7 segment display, this will be the last recorded fault. If you can get that then I can help you with the fault indicator (as have access to quickfinder)

    Thanks kentish for that.

This machine has no seven segment display only the lcd for the timer countdown.

    Am I missing something here?.

    Chris.
