    Customer complaint of F shown in both displays half way through last wash. When switched on again no indicators and appearing dead.
    On checking it out the door boot has lovely rips in the to either side of the inlets, but no water stains obvious. All the boards appear o.k. but there is nothing in either display and will not select when switched on. It just sits there with power to it and smirks .

    Any ideas ❓

    Cripes..i’ve got one of these indoors. The power goes to two relays within the main control unit first (one for live & one for neutral)so possibly main board?

    Im presuming the power board is the one in the base and not the rear of the facia board. what kind of prices are we looking at for this one.

    hi,

    lower board is £111.00 inc vat but to get the correct board you will need the 12nc number which will begin with 85 and consist of 12 digits.


    plus a door seal I guess @ £46.22……….crazy prices but thats whirlpool for you.

    these are of course retail inc vat……..but you’ve still got a hell of a job convincing the customer that its a viable repair in todays throwaway world.

    Lower board is the motor control, the main one is the one next to the display pcb at the top.
    As kheath says,you need the service number to price the correct one.
    Although saying that, the SIOS disc doesn’t give prices for this part!

    Another one bites the dust after eighteen months, as Freddy once said. I reckon he must have have been a prophet.
