ModeratorJust been out to one of these, about three or four years old, TBH not seen that many of them ‘ up to now’ 😉
Door lock mechanism was jammed in the closed position with the door open.
There appears to have been some water ingress into the door lock, I’m guessing from the loosely attached soap dispenser hose.
It will need a new lock together with the wiring mod but I just wondered if these have been prone to water getting into them.
There does appear to be just enough room to put a large cable tie around the top of the soap inlet hose to make a better seal.
Jim.

Same door lock on all of them Martin, but for the pettifogging pedants amongst the readers it is an AQXXF149PI. 😛 😀
Part is already on order. 😉

Unfortunately Jim I had the same thought… I bought a magnetic lock for one of the AQ range and when I received it it was different from the one on the machine… when I rung up I found out that there are two of them and they are serial number dependent .. and non-returnable either

As I already have the serial number and the correct part number all I really wanted to know was if there was a known water ingress problem with the doorlock on this model. 😥
That was the ‘only’ question I posed in my first post. 😉

On a AQXXF149PI it’s best to change the Dispenser hose (C00119211) as well. 🙂

Thanks for that. 8)
But as said dispenser hose fits all Aqualtis machines that I can see the model number is superfluous. 😉

I get the point you are making Jim, I truly do and I thank you for that. But I’m also sorry to realise that by my asking for the model number so that I could at least look it up and help you came to the assumption that I and others were mere “pettifogging pedants” by merely asking for the model number…!!! 😕
Is that too much to ask of a fellow colleague eh Jim? “Oh please Jim in order I may look it up and help you out I really really would like you to give us the model number?” Besides, how many times have you tried to answer posts where they don’t give the model number eh Jim? And how many times have you replied to those posts asking for it?
I expect you were just having a bad day yesterday that was all….But I now know in future that if ever you ask for help and don’t give a model number that it is “superflous” and thus no need to ask….got ya pal, say na more! 😉 😀

Hi Guys,
Found this thread and thought you may be assist?
Had same fault,AQGMD149 machine door locked and running but door open 😯
On inspection found terminal block burnt out and two brown cables shorted. The door lock required is c00264161 but need the terminal block for wiring unless I can get away tags.
found C00264535 with a wiring kit but it has block 2 extra terminal.
Any know if the door lock would still work without this other connection used ❓Steven
