ParticipantCouldn’t believe my eyes…. not only the worst ‘acting’ I’ve ever seen but upon seeing his wm leaking he then goes on to say how his plumbing course wouldn’t mean he’d have to fork out to repair it.
Who on earth does these things? Five year olds?

I mentioned it in the rumour mill D+G thread.
Its a training skills course, you failed to mention he could now gain £20-40,000 a yr as an appliance engineer. :rolls:
Its becoming a flooded industry.

You didn’t give the name of the company in that thread either. Can you recall their name?

wow,the one guy has his own plumbing company, must be racking it in. 8)
the only thing i have been racking is the garden :lol:jobs are hard enough to come by as it is,i wonder how these new entrants to the industry are really getting on :rolls:it is hard for an established company to survive in this economic turmoil,i feel sorry for the high hopes these people are given and the land of milk and honey that awaits them 🙁July 28, 2010 at 6:09 pm #326347boselecta
ParticipantVery true this trade is flooded now in my opinion. For the last five years loads of plumbling trade academys (or what they call themselves) have sprung up, the trouble is there are’nt enough plumbing jobs out there.
This trade is starting to suffer from the same over enthusiastic training companies, one even advertises on this site.July 28, 2010 at 6:49 pm #326348aqualectric

Well he’s got a leak at the front gasket; so his training has taught him to remove the back panel and spin the pulley………we’ve got nowt to worry about!!
Storm in a teacup IMHO.Steve.

ParticipantActually looking at the http://www.train4tradeskills.com/ in more detail, nowhere does it offer training for domestic appliance engineers.

Well that was my main point, they can’t distinguish between a plumber and an appliance engineer. Bloody clueless bunch of muppets imo.

Hi guys
They only train plumbers and electrictions basic realy as other few train in handyman. I did a plumbing course with them years ago and would not advise anyone to waste there money on any course with them.
kind regards
