ParticipantThis looks like it could be 20/25 years old. Pressure switch rubber diaphragm has rotted.
It’s a simple old-fashioned Eaton 2 level job (11/12/13 21/22/23).
I have cut off the metal edge clamp which holds it all together and am thinking of replacing the diaphragm with one from another p/sw of same type. But I think I’ve thrown out all the old p/switches I once had.
If anyone has an old Eaton with metal clamp as used in old Hotpoint / Hoover etc. I’d be happy to take it off your hands and wouldn’t charge you an awful lot. 😆 2-level preferred as plastic actuator on inside of diaphragm should be same.
Servis 412 dishwasher. Servis part no. would be 40008300 = 520001000 = 520001001 (using Mediator and Masterpart).
NLA @ Connect and POA @ Masterpart (and I doubt I’d like the price much if they could find it!).

Still nothing? Does this mean everyone has thrown them out?

Patience, Grasshopper .
Yes Jim, it arrived the other day. Thanks for the rapid despatch. It’s perfect for the job. I’ve removed the diaphragm and placed it into the dishwasher switch and it should be fine. I can’t clamp it back together till I’m back at the job because I didn’t record the orientation and don’t want to end up stretching wires. I was waiting till job done to report. Should be sometime during coming week; a (very interesting author) chap living alone so not too desperately urgent. Actually, I don’t do anything desperately urgent – it’s something to do with the air down here .

All went back in today. Used a large jubilee clip round the old metal surround to hold it all firmly back together. Working great now. Machine should be good for another 10 years at least.
