Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with this fault.
I changed a door seal on this machine all reassembled and ready to test. Door error comes up, forgot to reconnect door switch 😳 Plugged in connector and try again on hot wash as customer says it has never taken in hot water, since new. Machine appeared to fill ok, though only a spurt of hot came in, then the whole machine went dead, I thiought i saw a puff of smoke but not certain.
Now when the machine is switched on it bleeps, lights up for about 3-4 secs then goes off. Any ideas gratefully received!

Had a problem a little while ago on an LG. Can’t remember precisely what symptoms were but had to do with not start up. Turned out to be the touch switches (tactile switches) on the fascia board packing up. Replaced them and all was fine. Was in a damp atmosphere which I think speeded the corrosion of the switches. Just check them for continuity when pressed – fiddly but not too difficult.
