    Hi,
    this dishwasher intermittently stops before the first and third drain full of water. If the timer is clicked on then it continues to the end.
    My mind says timer but as these are generally bullet proof could it be the pump? It heats and always empties on the last drain.
    Maybe I have answered my own question….Timer?????

    How old is the machine? Has pump had time to wear out? (= intermittent)

    As you say these timers are pretty bulletproof. My thoughts are sticking inlet/safety valve, Float microswitch or break in wiring harness?
