ParticipantHello,
We have recently purchased a second hand Bendix Super Compact washing machine (which is a rebadged Eudora) since our kitchen at our new flat has no space for a full sized washing machine.
Despite being over 20 years old it performs extremely well and we are considering getting a new Eudora Euronova machine when we get the kitchen done so we can make the most of the space.
I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the newer machines?
Thanks!

Hi
Sadly no Bendix or Tricity Bendix available now I`m afraid. the only compact washer avaiable in the UK worth it`s salt is the Zanussi ZWC1300C which is the modern version of your old Bendix.
The Eudora compact is marketed in Germany and Austria by the looks of it. Sadly not available in the UK that I am aware of.
Out of curiosity whereabouts are you?
Moved thread to washing machine forum 😉

The only place where I can find them in the UK is here for £790: http://www.mailspeedmarine.com/general-chandlery/eumenia/euronova-1000-washing-machine641461.bhtml
What is nice about them is that they are slimmer and narrower then the Zanussi compact. The old Bendix has a pretty strange wash action and a pretty wild spin too!
I live in Northumberland.

Aha looks like they are designed for a ships galley where space is tight, hence the smaller physical size compared to the Zanussi. High price for a compact machine though 😉
I was trying to find a connection between a machine which I could only find on mainland Europe and an enquiry in the UK. Guess I was adding 2+2 and making 5 😆

No worries 🙂
Apparently there also intended for general usage, and seem to be reasonably popular in Central and Eastern Europe with people putting them under their bathroom sinks (not a good idea IMHO!).
The UK price is quite high, considering they can go for roughly £500-£700 new in Austria and Germany.
