KeymasterWell, it would appear that the battle between NESN and Connect isn’t quite over yet.
It’s only been going on for five years or so, so, I guess it’s early days yet. 😆
LOTS of interesting questions are being raised by what’s going on though. Not least of which is, why is that NESN are said to be cheaper than RC and yet can afford to pay the agents more?
The answer is pretty simple really. 😉
I’m sure that there’s more to come on this. In fact, I know there’s more to come out on this.

lol – from what I remember and we still do work for NESN, they are only taking £7/£9 for each call with RC taking £17. They have no hassle with parts either having passed it to Qualtex. Buggered if I know whats going on but I’ll keep taking their money and they are quite flexible if they can’t source the parts but you can. 8)

An interesting question has appeared in the Connect forums. Someone is asking what the hell is going on, meaning he has seen the NESN Bosch posting and wants answers off Gary Ainscough.
What it needs is someone to suss the fact that NESN are paying more for the same, and it is transparent.
I’m not flavour of the month at present with Connect as I’m rejecting 8 out of 10 calls and refuse to phone customers for further information when model numbers are missing, addresses wrong etc. We refuse to supply fit cosmetic parts in conjuction with a repair, and charge for every misuse etc.

Whoever Whirl4 is deserves a pint (or two). We probably won’t find out but hey-ho he deserves to be anonymous.
I love the fact he has pinpointed the copy of the e-mail where the blame is on DSG. The connect forum is beginning to liven up as well, and somone has mentioned there is a thread on UKW.
I suspect Connect will either take another repairer off their system or wipe the posts off thier forum.

KeymasterOh I couldn’t say who it was…
Let’s just say that the IP was proxy’d just to muddy the waters still further. Basically, absolutely untraceable as the person posting was, will say, a tad upset by all of this.
From what I can gather, he isn’t alone.

K.Even if you did know, there is no way I’d expect you to let on.
On the same topic I was at the DASA meeting the other week, and someone told ME I was Rudolph Hucker. He assured me he had this from a reliable source. My denials were met with a high degree of scepticism.
Bit disconcerting for me at present now Rudolph has come out of hibernation.
As regards Repaircare/DSG Adrian Whelke is openly pushing them for an answer. Well done that man!

Nope, can’t tell on any of the more “contentious” accounts as I am sworn to secrecy on them all.
TBH Alex they’re all guessing at who Rudi is, I’ve been blamed, Heath was pointed out, Sean was even accused and various other names have been tossed into the ring on that front. Thus far all I’m going to say is that they have been off base and, even if they did guess correctly I wouldn’t tell.
Rudi came out of hibernation due to the current events with RC in no small part because all this and more from what I can gather, has been pointed out to him. Nuff said.
We’ll see what shakes out but, in light of the information in the forums, I don’t think that RC have a great many places to run to… or hide!
If someone of any note within DSG sees that there’s very likely to be some hastily arranged top level meetings I’d expect.
Maybe a Ferrari or two will get sold… or even a BTCC car! 😆
