ParticipantI have a continuous fill / empty with the check water light coming on occasionally. So I am assuming that I have a fault on the impeller jug, which I will need to order.
My problem is that I don’t know this model, and I wanted to clean the ribbed pipe while I have got the machine stripped. Can anyone tell me how I get to the front of the sump? also the impeller jug hose to the inlet valve seems very short and appears to be very difficult to get at.Is there any reasonably easy way to access these parts or does the whole lot have to be lifted off the base.
Thanks

ParticipantFor the impellor jug….
LHS panel off – remove the inlet hose from the water matrix – at the base rear the cover for the water inlet hose is clipped in….pop the clip and gently pull the inlet hose out being careful to remember that there is an electrical connection to the impellor jug and the valve . Once it’s out , the biggest prob is getting the hoses off as they’re pretty tight.
NOTE THAT THE IMPELLOR JUG HAS A RIGHT AND A WRONG DIRECTION TO BE FITTED .As for the ribbed fill hose – LHS , RHS and door outer panel off . Lower plastic bace facia off – metal base facia panel off and all will be revealed .

Thanks Paul. I hadn’t considered removing it via the inlet valve.
The problem with this model regarding the ribbed hose, there is no metal facia, behind the lower plastic facia it is solid plastic.Regards David

Being a bit lazy, I just push a little flexible bottle brush (I made for the purpose) in through the hole in the sump below the filters and work it back and forth a few times. Used to use a cable tie and never had any problems. Mind you, it’s soft water here, no serious hard blockages. I think it’s only gravity that brings the water through that hose, hence doesn’t take much to stop it.
Mike.
Edit: PS There is a downside to this method in that when the customer sees how easy it is they do the job themselves should the problem recur. Which would obviously be a problem for those who don’t like having no work.:(

Use a hairdryer to warm the pvc pipe before attempting to remove it from the matix (and the impellor jug for that matter). Disconnect the plug-in connector from the impellor jug then remove whole inlet valve etc out through the back as Paul suggested.

Not a problem David as access is underneath after taking the metal base off!
