    916093753 ??

Fault – turn on, press start and one of the lights flashes 5 times – drum does not turn but the machine makes a noise…

Very difficult to get a better description from the customer – what information I got was a struggle.

I know they have couple of capacitors if I remember rightly?

It’s the light that flashes 5 times I was wondering about. Not sure which light it is but customer was insistant it flahsed 5 times, pause then started again.

Is the test sequence for this similar to the Zanu WMs??

    Any pointers appreciated?? Steve

thanks helo, I was aware to check the caps… my question related to the 5 flashes and whether it was a valid fault code and also the test procedure….

Fault is down to dead 2uf cap…

Does this mean I need to replace it with genuine … 125 64 18 20/1 or can I bung in any 2uf cap?????

Customer wants to replace it which seems a bit excessive over a simple capacitor. I just didnt’ have one close enough in size to try.

I do like these Zanu TD’s, they do seem to be built to a reasonable standard access for repair and repairs are usually simple enough…………………
