    Can anyone help me with a thermostat for an AEG Competence Ceramic Hob and also K12 600W 160V halogen bulbs?

    Give us more info though please. Model no. Serial No. PNC no etc. We all work here with computers and computers demand the right numbers to give the right answers 😉

    If you are the Chris I think you are from the Midlands, then I owe a favour for the supply & painless installation of my Father’s F/Freezer a year or so back.

    If you can pop onto my website, fill out the parts request with the e-number and at the same time ask for a page copy of the pdf file, we will e-mail it to you.

    Regards cost, give the spares line a ring, 01278-434978 and we will give you a bigger than normal discount off retail price. You may have to get them to confirm it with me 1st. We can get it to you straight from Distriparts overnight.

    Hi there – yes I’m not a Midlands Chris but from Bromley.

    These are the details of the cooker:

    Competence 321V-W
    Type 54 OLF 13-OQ
    KD.611.251 014-073/105316

    All these details on a plate on the RHS inside oven door.
    The hob has three ring elements and one halogen which is kaput hence the request. One ring is large and “auto”, two others smaller and same size.

    The bulbs for the halogen ring are marked K12 160V 600W and the protection thermostat seems to have gone as well.

    I tried Alex’s number but no reply – will try again though.

    The halogen plate comes complete, part number 305 17 18-11/6 priced at £114.05 inc VAT.

    Keep trying Alex, he’s an Electrolux (AEG mother company) agent and may be able to better the listed retail price.

    We can get it to you for £71.80 + p&p + vat = £89.06

    If you try the number again and quote the figures & the part number etc. re this e-mail we can set it up. If you get a ringing/no answer it is because the line is busy. Keep trying.

    All installed and working – thanks for the service – most people said unit was obsolete and working – thus requirring a new cooker!
