Well, it’s leaking.
A quick rummage inside suggests that there’s a seal between the two plastic bits of the drum, and it’s this seal that’s leaking.
Is this worth calling in someone to repair? Or is it “buy a new washer time”? (The machine is a bit over 4 years old.)
The local “Washing Machine Repair” want about £30 to come out to look at it, and won’t give any kind of price without that inspection 🙁

It is well worth repairing and I would say that £30 a very reasonable rate for this day and age. Furthermore it is likely, given its relatively young age, that the repair will not be too costly and worth repairing.
Possibly may need a new Door Gasket? Or even a new Front Drum Plate? Neither of which are expensive to replace 😉
