It’s where they give their agents a bit of free advertising for chargeable customers.

I think I am correct in saying that it’s only D&G agents that get a listing on there.

Its where a customer can buy, on line, an insurance policy to repair a broken appliance, to put it simply.

Seems to work very well as we have had quite a few referals to repair flying toolbox jobs since it started.

PS try going into the site martin and it will refer you to the local D&g agent and show his charges and call out etc as well as his Quality rating.

    Will do Kevin!

I will sign on as Mr A N Other, 2 Railway Sidings, East Cheam, with a 2 year old Hotpoint WMA making funny noises on spin 😉

Seriously though, will check it out, thanks 8)

I hadn’t checked the site for ages.

Funnily enough we had a referral today, so it was a good time to check it out.

We have 5 stars in our own right, strangely Service Force has 4 stars, yet it is still us that would get the call as there is only the Service Force & our numbers that came up & the phone numbers for the p/code I entered are to our office.

When I’ve got a bit of time, I will browse a few other p/codes and see who’s out there. EX 14 is interesting.

    Thanks, I think 😕 😆

    We have no rating because
1/ we have only been D&G agents for a few months and
2/ we’ve never had a referal from the Flying Toolbox.

I guess the system relies on customers going back to the site and ranking the service they have recieved, which is damn good idea, we all like to know how we’re doing out there, well I do anyway.

And Alex, EX14 ? The lovely Devon town of Honiton and it’s surrounding Hamlets, very interesting 😆

    Dave.

EX 14 is in our area, we cover quite an area for Service Force & the criteria I used to search was an AEG W/Machine. Had to be AEG as the area is too posh for the lower end of the market.

Dave is right that if you are new to D&G then it will take a bit of time to gain a rating, as it does come from feedback. It took us 3 years to get to 3 stars. I was pleasantly surprised to see we had crept up to 5 stars.

    Re: Flying toolbox?

We’re working our way back to 5 *’s. Having won the TEQ award 2 years running (in a previous life) we went & spoilt it by becoming Service Partners for a manufacturer (no prizes for guessing who!).

However to have 5*, if I remember correctly, requires you to score on customer generated replies over 88{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} customer satisfaction, based upon numerous questions asked of the customer.

When we won the TEQ award the 1st time, I think we scored 92{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} overall and the second time 94{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Any one of you out there with 5* deserves a little respect from all of us because you have to earn it by doing the business we are all in.

Sadly my recent escapades scuppered any chance of 3 in a row. But, for certain we will be back, and not with an UZI.

    Re: Flying toolbox?

I emailed D&G a short while back, and they have just stuck an ‘application form’ in the post to me today (just the form, no covering letter or owt?)

Anyway, I read the double sided form, they want to know what may labour rates are? postcode areas? products serviced? call rate turnover? agencies covered? bankers? bank account number? blood group? next of kin? nearest A&E hospital etc etc???????????? 🙁
