KeymasterMany thanks for the advice given earlier on the E9 and E2 error codes. I didn’t feel confident about doing the dismantling of the machine and cleaning of the side fill chamber so I got an engineer in to have a look. He said it was the side fill chamber but said it was a sealed unit and would therefore have to be replaced (I hadn’t mentioned the advice already received). He has since come back and said that Diplomat no longer make these units and that my machine is now obsolete!!!
Any further advice or help available out there?

KeymasterNo it is still available, part number KIT22LTEC and, as suggested, is a kit that is listed at £45.41 excl VAT from MFI. It is not obsolete.

Thank you so much for your quick response. I will get back to the engineer before he invoices me for the original callout!! 😀

I have just spoken to the company and they said that because they don’t have an account with MFI they cannot order the part but will fit it if I get it. Using my somewhat limited internet skills I have been unable to find either the MFI contact or a supplier.
Any suggestions?

KeymasterCarol,
Dave should be able to order one up for you no problem. I don’t have one is stock (which is a tad unusual actually) but Dave may have one there anyway.
You can email Dave using spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk and the price should be as quoted plus carriage and VAT obviously.

Yep, no problem.
With VAT and carriage added it will be £58.85, I don’t have one in stock though so will take 3-5 working days to arrive here, and then another couple of days to get to you.
Why didn’t I just say about a week in the first place 😕 😆

John, could you post the model number please, the thread title is ADP8224 which doesn’t have the same display type you refer to.
Thanks.
Dave.
