ParticipantHi all,
First time poster here!
I’ve looked at a lot of forums and can’t seem to find one with my problem.
I have an integrated powerpoint dishwasher ( a brand of convenience in ireland I’ve found out ) and it just stopped working. If I turn it on the ‘salt’ light lights up but none of the buttons do anything (time delay button, 1/2 load button or P, programme select button). Through removal and inspection it would appear that there had been a leak which triggered the flood protection as there was water in the bottom tray of the dishwasher. I removed the water and looked for leaks but found none. The only possible reason would be water coming through what appears to be a short overfill stackpipe in the bottom of the dishwasher which has two rubber pipes draining to the tray below. I’d like to test if this is overfilling or if the water just came through the overfill stackpipe through time. But having cleaned the leak I cant seem to reset the machine! Everytime I turn on the machine I still have the same problem, no buttons will do anything and I just have the one ‘salt’ light on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Moved you to the correct forum. 😉
Are there any identifying numbers on the machine, look on the inner edges of the door etc.

Hi iadom,
Thanks for the move,
I just got the machine running by holding down all the buttons down before turning it on, ( its a TW36FI by the way ).
I’ve ran it nowand the only leak is from the door seal, the door also seems to be pretty badly strained in that it hangs about two inches below horizontal when opened and the hinge point look to be pulled a bit.
I might get a seal and fit it to see if it fixes it and hopefully the door issue will not make it leak with the new seal.Fingers crossed

Hi again,
Before i get a new seal for this dishwasher, I’m trying to find out an other problems i may have on it.
Inside the door is a plastic water matrix with an electric fan style motor at the top. Both the motor seal and the lowest point of the matrix also seem to be leaking. What is this motor for? and why does there seem to be an opening on the bottom of the matrix?Anyone please
