please help…. i have a 35012 M RZA34G hotpoint freezer model, bought only 12mth ago from up north before moveing down south 6mth ago.

i did a big shop few weeks back. came home 2 days ago to find red light on the front indicating high temp all other lights are green. on inspection food has defrosted, i pulled out from under worktop and the metels at the back are burning hot. played around with the temp in hope to re ajust it and left for further 24hrs hoping it wld re freeze….. it hasnt 🙁

iv now un pluged it, washed out the ice and water but have no where to put defrosted food 😥

anyhow, please could someone advice me on what to do, is it fixable as i have no spare cash to go out and buy a new one 😳 and surley this shouldnt happen with it being relitivey new??? advice grately appriciated thank you.

Firstly dump the food in your bin – it seems from what you have told us that you have a fault with either the motor (compressor) or there is a shortage of refrigerant within the system. Both repairable
