    Hotpoint Bwd 129
Replaced PCB, Better but still a fault so replaced display Board.
All seemed to be perfect, But as I was putting lid on,Heard Dryer Water valve
filling and found live supply to valve when on/off on, But not started.
I have taken machine to workshop and tryed another PCB I had ordered for another machine, Its still the same, all the tags are in perfect condition.
I have run out of ideas

have you checked for earth faults

most components are fed live and neutral switched so if you have a small leak to earth valve will energise

Plug-in connections on board incorrectly located maybe? 💡

I am reminded of how water valves come into operation on WMA’s during spin when brushes down. Have I remembered that right? Anyway, worth a look. Could try unplugging motor and see if it’s any better.

Found it, Thanks to Tony at EMW.
I had looked at plug to PCB and it looked perfect, It was only when i levered
cover away to show wire connections i could see were it was shorting.
Connect stock valve harness. About £7
    😀
