Hi, I have a Bosch WFB2005 washing machine which will not start a cycle although the power light is illuminated. This started as an intermittent fault but has become a permanent state(!)
I think the problem is with the door interlock, but is there a way of checking this? There are three terminals on the interlock. The wires on the spade connector closest to the pecker (numbered as terminal 2) are blue & red, the wires on the middle connector (numbered 3) are blue and white and the third connector (numbered 1) has a white wire attached.
Well, I changed the interlock and the machine started to work, apparently fine. But I ran a short wash program and when the machine had finished I realised that it hadn’t filled with water. I have tried a few different programs and the drum turns, spins, etc but doesn’t fill. It was working perfectly before the door interlock problem.
