On the diagnostic all I got was a continuous flash – someone said this is actually an F1 = NTC Fault? Is this right? Anyway the resistance cold on the NTC was 13.8 K ohms. Can anyone tell me if this is a correct or incorrect reading. I have ordered a new NTC anyways. Thanks August 19, 2010 at 4:17 pm #328275 MartinParticipant Re: Whirlpool NTC reading myfil wrote:Anyway the resistance cold on the NTC was 13.8 K ohms. As a rule anywhere between 10 & 20KΩ is OK. 🙂 August 19, 2010 at 6:56 pm #328276 johnmac11Participant Re: Whirlpool NTC reading Here are the correct values for Whirlpool dishwasher NTC’s 20º = 58.1 kΩ 25º = 47.1 kΩ 30º = 38.2 kΩ 40º = 25.4 kΩ 50º = 17.2 kΩ 60º = 11.8 kΩ 70º = 8.3 kΩ 80º = 6 kΩ 85º = 4 kΩ John September 4, 2010 at 3:04 pm #328277 myfilParticipant Re: Whirlpool NTC reading Thanks John Fitted the little bayonet-type NTC probe and D/W is now heating properly.
