Following a blown drain pump, i apparently need a new main power module. Does anyone know roughly how much these cost and if they’re straight forward to fit.

I’ve done a search on Google but can’t find any info on them, is there another name for a main power module.

    thanks

Are you talking about the PCB (printed circuit board) ?
If so you may have 2 options.
Email the whitegoods shop with model number and the product number and they should be able to sort you one.
The 2nd option is to see if your old board can be repaired, there are companies that can do this.

There are 3 different modules fitted to the ZWF1437 and only by giving the PNC number of your machine (begins 914????????) can the part number of the module be established. As to the cost of one, at a guess between £100 and £150 😥

Well if the cost of one is that much, plus fitting costs, plus there’s no guarantee that will cure the problem, plus the machine had other cosmetic problems(door locking mechanism is a bit temperamental).

It would appear the wisest solution would be to buy a new machine for about £300 ❓

The best buy out there if you are quick is the Bosch WAE24165 for £299 at Comet, normal retail circa £360, offer runs out on Tuesday 24th.
