    I have a fault, which I’m pretty sure is the module on this WFK 5730. That is I have no spin but on a wash I have a fast spin in both directions, tacho is showing 17.5 , winding 4.5 and brushes 3.8 (taken at module end)

    Could any one give me an idea about price, my usual suppliers Qualtex and Homespare don’t have it listed. Customer thinks the machine is about 12 years old but I think that the date code is Nov 1994.

    It also needs a new door seal and given it’s age it wouldn’t hurt to put brushes on. So this is all starting to add up. If the module is horrendously expensive I might have to BER it.

    I’d like to let them know asap so that they buy a new one on Monday

    You are correct with the manafacturing date so its nearly 16 yrs old . I can only give you BSH part numbers .

    The original part number from Bosch for the motor module is 094555 and is approx £130+ VAT

    door seal 295609 – approx £32+ VAT

    The motor doesn’t have changeable brushes as such but an end ‘cap’ 496872 approx £53+ VAT
