Blockedlee8…
Had the following PM from him:
Try ServiceForce their is an agent in your area, not too hot at the moment, maybe worth a punt.
Now, most of his sh1t is sh1t! But occasionally, he does seem to be educated regarding things and maybe likes giving ‘Hints or Snippets’ away!
This message struck me, as he’s not the first to mention my local SF agent to me in the last few weeks! In fact, he’s the 3rd!
I also know that Repaircare approached my local SF agent with the view of signing them up in CF as 2nd Tier, they declined on the basis that they are not taking on any more Business…
Who is lee8??? How is he in a position to say what 2 other people have to me regarding SF agent, randomly, via PM on UKW?
I personally think there is more to lee8 than meets the eye!

(I haven’t told you this) S.F. are not too keen on Nevets. Connect won’t talk to them. I know that for fact.
Fred Young at Drulight, who I gather SF don’t have any issues with I doubt would be keen on Connect, so you have opened an interesting point.
Ian Harrison at Haverfordwest has reduced his area to something very small indeed, which was how come Swansea came up for grabs.
It gets better.
Lee8
Several of us S.F. Agents believed at one stage Lee8 to be one of us. He knew all about the Chinese washing machine, and posted something whilst the mach was doing the training rounds, yet was not on general release. He has posted regards a cooker recall, and some Beko stuff, all not on public release which all leads towards him having the right contacts.
He mentioned that most S/F agents were running a scam, (Untrue incidentally) and that was what lead some of us S/F agents onto a witch-hunt to find him. Trail went cold and it went off Kilter, someone in the forums put a surname to him, and none of us know who that is?
Unless we can get a location or he gives something away in another post, I doubt if we will ever get to the bottom of it.
Moving on.
Ade, are you up for this? I can have a word with the regional ops manager who covers South Taffland, and get some vibes whether they are on the look-out. They are not like some and go looking for change where change is due. They are not Whirlpool.
Only thing is, your Service Force Wales posting may muddy the waters, but it is worth a punt.
your call

I had the impression that Lee8 was working for a SF agent or was subcontracting for one ,but your right he does keep throwing in random things when the heat is on .
I am sending him a PM to invite him to the mtg ,I think others have done the same ,I don’t think for a moment that he will come but we will see…August 22, 2010 at 4:37 pm #328510VillageIdiot2

Thanks for that kind offer Alex… It is appreciated 🙂
But I have to say no thanks 🙁
My fingres were burnt badly by Richard (Can’t remember his last name) and the thought of doing Service Force work again sends shivers down my spine 🙁
I know in the whole, they probably are a very well organised service organisation, but if they knocked on my door again in desperation, I couldn’t accept a single call without being fully equipt with all administrative resources, which, based on my last encounter, isn’t the way they work for new recruits.
Again, it’s very kind & nice of you to make the offer of a word though 🙂
And it was Drulight Mark went to see just before the rate cut annoncement, he told me he was going there whilst we were having a McDonalds! The reason: To please DSG as they required 2nd & 3rd Tier engineers (Which kinda tied into that speech Bernard made in Brum where we were both at). Also told me not to repeat it as Gary would have a ‘Fit’ if he knew agents knew what RC were doing! Apparently, Gary doesn’t believe in being open, he’s very paranoid about agents knowing stuff. My reply to Mark: It’s a small world like! Not as if we wouldn’t find out one way or the other anyhow! But maybe in RC Land… We’re all just thick washing machine repairers?!
Back to lee8 though, he’s definately either romantically involved with someone in a high place, or is involved directly! He is too ‘In the know’ for a run of the mill Indie… IMO!
Ade 🙂

Ade, the SF contract is a good thing to have and, if they are desperate they will pay above book, it might not be prudent to totally rule it out.
What I’d do is take on a small chunk of work and get that right before looking to grow it if it becomes possible. But, it could provide some backup if RC does go South.
Just a thought.

Maybe we could have a chat about it at the meeting Alex?
Maybe if they were in a position to look elsewhere at some point, neither of us would have anything to lose by meeting?
I suppose even if nothing came of it in the near future, we could bury the past I suppose?!

F.F.S.
What a bloody incestous bunch this bloody trade happens to be. Apart from his constant sniffing which gets on my tit, I didn’t dislike Mark Reilly. Thanks for the heads up, as it reinforces why I still didn’t trust the guy.
Despite all said & done, I will pop the question regards South Yakki-Dah-Land. However they do tend to leave you to work it out for yourself.

Anyways, Lee.
What if Lee wasn’t the Christian name but the surname? 😉

I deleted back to Ians post. It is pathetic how every few days, he comments, a few have a go, and he seems ignorant to the comments he’s making.
It’s a serious thread, and the last thing we want is for other Manufacturers / Suits reading it and having the focus taken off what we say and placed on lee winding people up!
I took the initiative, and deleted back to relevent post.
I didn’t feel it appropriate to message him, he’s been told enough! And as Ted said, even has his own thread!
I wonder whether he is deliberately trying to take the limelight off the factual rate cuts & put more focus on him, being an ass! As his persistance is unbelievable!

Now he is polluting the Ben Nevis honesty thread.
If he turns up at Coventry, can someone demonstrate that a baseball bat across the side of the head offends, before they hit him with it.
What a tosser!

I’ll be happy to oblige Alex 🙂 Dim problem!
He clearly has no respect for us lot & is definately trying to take topics off focus… Might I suggest, we all ignore the nob! He seems to get kicks out of our anger & that fuels him!
We should just ignore him now, and if his posts then get tooooooo off course or offensive / provocotive (Due to lack of reply), I or someone else will delete them to keep topic on track?
