    hI gUYS
    cAN ANYONE HELP , A HOBART DISHWASHER CHF 40 fills then drains for a bit then a error comes up sa-fe=electro mechanical safety
    then just sits

    They sometimes have the codes in the manual if you can find it.
    Failing that it’s easy to test the rinse and wash heaters for continuity and earth leakage,bottom plinth off,both usually to the left.

    if this is one of the new hobart dishwashers, the dishwasher will not work unless the filter and cover is in place in the tub. there is a magnet in filter cover to activate the reed switch, check incase the magnet has fallen out or is missing? good luck. cheers.
