Customer reports that the machine is not heating up. I changed the cylinder style heating element on this machine about 6 months ago (heater was open circuit) and the machine has worked perfectly since that repair was carried out.

When I went over to inspect the machine it did heat when started on the ‘quick’ cycle. Customer then phoned me back a few days later to say that it wasn’t heating at the tail end of the cycle. When I went back to test it I notice that it starts to heat initially but the water only becomes luke-warm. I’ve checked the control board for the obvious faults (failed relay / burnt joints etc) but it seems fine. The machine actually completes its cycle and never stops or shows a fault code – it’s just that the stuff is wet and cold when it’s finished.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Steve.
