    WHIRLPOOL ADP4501/5WH SER NO 851150415829

    Been on the above dishwasher, the dishwasher works, but pulses power!!
    as if its switched off at mains for two seconds, then on for two and so on. even the start neon pulses, i suspect the module is faulty, anyone seen this fault before?

    we have exactly the same fault with same model,have tried 2 new modules now slightly different pt no 481221838522 now machine pulses once on startup then dies
    Jason have you made any progress?

    customer only just agreed to repair. just ordered new module. will keep you posted. you have got me worried now.

    also check the soap dispenser coil that can cause that, hook up a valve coil 😆

    Capacitor on module I would think..

    jason have you ordered pt no 481221838522 ?
    if so could you please post the outcome as our service no is identical and new board has not worked

    MARTIN, the orig fault was progressing thru all functions but pulsing as Jason described.
    With new module 481221838522 it now gives short pulse of pump onstart up then stops totaly

    the service number is the same, we have ordered part number 481221838364, which should be the correct programmed board. we have not been to fit yet but we will keep you updated with the outcome.

    Fitted new module. all ok.

    think you must be fitting the wrong module spanner.
