I have just invested in a Burnside T940L. And have got it all set up.
Now the only negative I have found, at the moment, is…
When my landline was diverted to my mobile, before I got the T940L. I could accept/see a 2nd call coming in or let it go to my mobile ans phone. Even if they didn’t leave a message I could call them back as I could see the number coming in. (With the exception of unknown numbers.)
Now with the T940L connected, if I am on the phone to a customer who has phoned me and a 2nd customer rings all they get is an engaged tone. I have no way of getting the number as they never made it to my mobile.
If I had call waiting on my landline it hopefully would let me know of another call coming in but if I didn’t answer it can I retrieve the number that has just tried calling. I assume theres no way of directing that call to an answerphone facility?
Hopefully someone has some idea what i’m talking about?

I’m watching this CALL FORWARDING THREAD with great interest and it’s too bad your point Tim couldn’t be included in that thread? So’s we could keep it all together so to speak.:wink:
That said, I would have thought a ‘2nd caller’ on hearing the engaged tone on your phone would ring again anyway, don’t you reckon? Caller waiting is a pain in the bum anyway, if they want you that badly they’ll ring again I’m sure!:D
