    Hi,

    I have a problem with my Diplomat washine machine (APM 8552/2), basically it will get part way through the cycle but won’t empty on its own (untill i turn the controller to 500 spin, then it will empty), if i do not turn it to a 500 spin it basically just swishes from side to side and stays doing this forever and a day.

    I have checked the motor brushes they seem ok (about 1 inch long), checked the drain pump it appears to be all ok and clear of debris etc + impellor is free + turning ok.

    Any help would be great?
