New Warranty Registration

    I sent a question to John regarding registering new appliances sold and he mentioned to do it the same way as we do with the ISE warranty.

    Can I use the ISE form and adapt it for Amica?

    Which email do you want all these forms sent to?

    As I have sold many appliances over the last year registration was not required it was just on a sales invoice as proof of purchase.
    Do I need to send details of customers and back date all these sales?

    Just had a call from Elizabeth at Amica saying to register appliances on-line.

    How do we do this? and as Steve says, how far back do we have to go?

    Okay, I hear ya…

    The seller-service system is NOT live yet as billed by just about everyone as it was always scheduled for the end September or start of October. And, as billed, it isn’t officially pukka and in place until later this month.

    So the official answer is, “tough, it’s not ready”.

    The unofficial answer is…

    The girls will do everything that they possibly can to make sure that any calls on appliances sold by you guys are routed back to you. But you will have to play the game for a little while before it all gets slicker, which it will.

    I’m hoping that the seller-service registration will be live next week internally. It will be tested and approved for external use after we knock it about a bit. After that the release will then go live on a little website I’m working on for you to knock yourselves out registering machines 24/7/365 in your underpants if that’s your desire.

    But gimme a few days guys huh? I’ve kinda got a bit on my plate at the moment, a little slack would be appreciated.

    Asides from which, I wanna get it as right as I possibly can from the get-go.

    What I would advise is to keep an eye on this thread and I’ll let you guys be used as guinea pigs for some registrations onto the system internally to test it. Then you’ll have first crack at the online stuff as well to test that as well.

    Any you have just keep a note of all the usual details for registration a’ la ISE and you’ll be sorted. 😉

    Just remember though it’s not quite the same in one respect, the customer must make contact with the Amica call centre to validate the service call.

    Other than that, you should be fine pretty much and if there’s any issue let me know and I will try to sort it myself in the short term until it’s all up and running as it should be.

    Can Amica have guarantee forms in with the appliances from now on along with the new contact phone number for customers to call?
    or do they prefre to do it all on line?

    If not can we get them to produce a card to go in with appliances?
    This way registration will be easier.

    on the back of that for future work…

    Have we already got a registration card of our own made up which we can send direct to the CSS for additional warranty to be sent out to customers when the manufacture warranty runs out which can be done at time of the sale?
