    Good afternoon all,

Wondering if anyone can offer some advice regarding the above door ass’y?

The inner glass section has fallen out, due to the bonding failing, and the outer glass section has also dropped out of its frame.

I am wondering whether to attempt a repair, or to recommend a new door ass’y which costs around £55

I am not sure which bonding/sealant to use if a repair is possible, plus the outer frame is a little warped and could prove troublesome.

Wondering if anyone can advise, as I haven’t carried out such a repair.

    Best wishes,

    THIS is what you need.

I usually remove the door completely from the oven and clean all the surfaces carefully before applying the adhesive. Leave the door flat and place some weight on it for a few hours before refitting.

If it is badly warped then a new door would be the best option.

    Thanks iadom,

Could you let me know the type of adhesive I should use.

In don’t think the frame is too badly worn, so intend re-bonding glass sections.
