ParticipantHi Folks
Sorry got no model no. on this yet but got to go tomorrow.
Cust says works for 10min then “empty tank” light comes on but tank empty. Would suspect jammed float chamber etc. but cust recon she has been on internet and this is a common fault on these m/c caused by the motor?.
Anyone come across this? Just wanted a bit of heads up before I go as not done any Beko cond Driers before.
Where is the float chamber located and are they easy enough to get to?
Can you get a motor fault causing this prob – seems wierd to me?Know this is a bit difficult to reply to not knowing the mod no. but any help appreciated.
Thanks
Mick

Hi Folks
Went to this yesterday and was the pump o/c but just a couple of questions.
The pump looked like it had water damage – as it is in its own little box in the float chamber the water ingress must have got in via the open top – is this just design fault or is there something else going on which would cause this? The box looked dry but obvious water/condensation ingress.
Is there a mod that stops this?
Ended up taking the drum out on this to release the rear clip on the float chamber after struggling for about 10min with drum in position :rolls: 😡 – also noticed a small screw holding the top on which wasn’t obvious with the drum in position as well – is it posible to release the rear clip on the top and do this job without taking the drum out? (just for future ref.)
Any help/comments appreciated
Thanks
Mick

Thanks Elecrofix for the help.
Looks like they do a modified pump Part No 2962510100 where the motor is all sealed and a new tank to fit it in Part No. 2961730100. Only problem is cant get Connect or Masterpart to recongnise the new pump part no. – only the old one. Looks like they have tried to solve this problem tho so must have been giving problems.
Guess will have to go with the old type pump for the time being.
Also looks like the pump unit comes out from the back without taking the drum out – you just need to know about the screw tucked out of sight that alows to to get the top off the chamber.
many thanks for the help
Mick
