Hello,
I have just been given a Whirlpool fridge freezer, basically because it’s not working right, and I’m fairly techy and will try and fix it.
I am told that before it packed up the relays were clicking and the water dispenser was intermittent. Then it just stopped freezing.
It’s been sat outside for the last few weeks (under shelter, not wet). Now it’s in my garage, plugged in, (not plumbed in) and it appears to be working. I only switched it on last night, and this morning it seems to be cold, I’ll check it again tonight.
It’s model number is FRWW2VAF20/0
there were two other numbers below that 8586 400 15001 and 11 0705 019712 and it’s three years old.Do you think I need to replace the capacitors? From what I’ve seen it uses the same control board that has been mentioned in great length on this site.
Your help is much appreciated.
