beko d 2731

hi all, new here!

a friend of mine has purchased an beko d 2731 slimline dishwasher.

it seems to be making the right noises, but have noticed the element isnt getting hot

im a sparky and have a relatively good knowledge of things

we have tested the element and get a reading of 30.6 ohms
there are two thermostats that sit on the bottom of the washer, one been a 50 c and the other a 58 c, ive tested these with a kettle and both stats open and give a reading when heated up, when they are cold there is no reading just open circuit
we have just found that the float switch seems to stick once operated and needs a tap to release the microswitch, could this be stuck ?

any help advice appreciated
