Keymasterhi my diplomat dishwasher has packed up I have three flashing lights from the left and the far right light is staying solid. It starts the cicle emptys water then fills up then beeps and the lights come on. Diplomat told me to try a reset which i did but no joy. Any ideas what it is so I can get which ever part is knackered on it. Or get someone out to it.

KeymasterI had a look at the technical information bulletins for that ranges that use the type of timer described, the model number looks to be incorrect I’m afraid, and the fault described is not listed. So it’s either a timer fault or down to good old fashioned diagnostic skills to work it out. 😉
I’d advise you get someone in that does repairs to these machines as taking pot-shots at what’s faulty is liable to work out more expensive.

Hello
I have exactly the same fault with my ADP8242. If you do get any joy with the repair can you post a response. I will if I find a solution.
Cheers
Matt

OK, as Matt has supplied a model number they both should have the same solution.
That code means the control pcb is looking for a flow meter in the appliance which does not actually exist, it’s a glitch in the software I would imagine.
The pcb will need resetting by an appointed MFI service agent or someone with the relevent technical data which I cannot reproduce for obvious reasons.
If you either check the directories link on the main menu on the left for an engineer in your postcode area or post your postcode here I’m sure someone will be happy to assist.
Regards
Dave.

Thanks very much Dave
If there are any good engineers out there who think they can fix this fault my post code is GL10 2BQ.
