I have to replace the hinges on my Bosch built in cooker. I can remove the door, and have the replacement hinges.

    The cooker is HBN435AGB

There are six screws on the door which came out easily, but the door does not comes apart easily and I am worried about too much force. It is not clear if it should slide or just pull them apart with more force, or have I missed some hidden screws?

I asked Bosch and they politely asked me to schedule an engineer visit. That may be the only way to solve this.

Assuming you have indeed unhooked the complete door from the mainframe of the oven and laid that door unit on the ground first? Then, and only then, unscrew the 2 inside top screws, release the outer door glass and handle from the inner door frame and glass. Then the 4 screws (2 to each hinge) release the hinges. No force required whatsoever…!!

    Simples!

    Thank You!

It looks like 10 years of use had made the seals between the two parts of the door turn into adhesive pads. The two parts were effectively stuck together, but your post gave me the confidence to carefully prise them apart.

The oven door is now back on and closes fully for the first time in years. Job Done.
