Hi guys,
The above dishwasher is filling & draining then filling up to what seems the right level. then drains back out again, the fills back up to right level, the circ pump then kicks in for about 2 seconds then it drains back out then fills to right level again, then kicks an E2 fault code in and drains,
I’ve taken the metering tank off and cleaned what i can of that out (there is some tiny bits i can reach but there was a lotta rubbish in there) I’ve cleaned the black pipe to the sump etc & I’ve replaced the pressure switch to no avail. – I’m tepmted to oreder a new metrering tank etc but not sure.
Any ideas?

It’s a Smeg, so E2 is air break blockage – Connect list it at £112 + VAT cost!! 😯
Pressure switch failure / water in the tube / wash motor not starting or rarely, PCB faulty. You seem to have done everything else, so the most likely thing is the air break unit at fault.HTH,
