got a problem with my washing machine. switched on came up with error code (fh – no water entering machine) (hot water ok ) i’m assuming it’s the inlet valve that’s away away does anyone know the best way to test it any info would be really helpful thanks. no problem with hoses or water valve, filled a bucket in seconds.

    Re: whirlpool cold inlet valve

its normally the coils that fails on valves

you need a multimeter on ohm scale and you should get between 3 to 5000 ohms

if you check the hot the cold should give a similar reading

(test with plug out no power on machine)
