    Please help I have a hotpoint wd440 washer dryer which I can’t get to start. You press the start cancel button your hear the door lock click and the door is locked. The machine just stays there doing nothing ! The door lock light does not come on though the door is locked. I know the door light is not faulty as when you cancel the program all the lights come on. I have tried another door lock, motor, pump checked all elements with no luck. Have fitted another board from EMW but I have still the same fault any help please??

    Try inlet valve, then pressure switch

    Have you tugged on the wireing plug to the motor ? Pull on each wire.

    Just to let anyone know with the same fault one of the White wires on motor block broken !! Thanks for your help.
