Hoover VHD 8142 will not spin

My HOOVER VHD 8142 keeps stopping before a spin, I set the program as usual and it runs most of the way through untill it is just about to go on a spin, the washing machine vibrates and jumps around a little then stops, it has several attempts at draining then spin but just keeps stopping eventually completely stopping with the start/pause and the spin speed led’s flashing eight times.
