KeymasterHI there I am wanting a tiny part for a NEFF B-AP22-7 oven.
It is a tiny red plastic part where the oven temperature light is, just above the main temperature knob.
Somehow this tiny red plastic ‘window’ got broken and the bulb inside has now dropped down into the facia.
Its just the red ‘window’ thing.
Any idea’s?
Do I need to provide you with more info from my oven?
Thanks
David

Yes please. the part you need is called the lens. The Bosch Neff Siemens group of products all have what is called an E number and will begin with just that E-Nr………
If you can supply that i’ll look up the details for you.
Regards.
Dave.

I have the NEFF part number – it’s :
“154746”
ENR B1420B0GB/05
FD 7710
Model B-AP22-7I have contact Neff direct and the part is about £0.89p – problem is they want about £3.50 to post it to me…….? Derrr…
Can anyone else order this on my behalf as part of a bigger order and I can then pay them and they post it to me for the price of a first class stamp???
If I have to pay £4.50 for it, i’ll do without.
Thanks
David

Hi again.
The part is, as you say 87p plus VAT. The postage charge is quite normal for spares suppliers, even those of us with spares accounts will pay the same, unless (again, as you mention) the part is placed with a larger order, then there is the problem of sending the part to you, which will incur a further charge.
The postal charge may seem high, but given that sending parts anywhere either by post or carrier costs money, in as much as people have to be employed to administer the posting, packaging costs (jiffy bags etc), the actual cost of the parcel itself by the carrier, it all adds up. £3.50 is about the norm to be honest for small parcels.
The only way to avoid this is order the part from a local shop who will offset part of the postage against other parts on the same order and collect it from them when it arrives.
Dave.
