hello people, new to this site..looks like lots of handy tips etc but cant find anything regarding my problem..anyways, i have the above model washer/dryer combo and it has stopped drying properly..the drum spins as normal but the clothes still come out wet/damp..the same thing happened when it was under warranty and the tech who fixed it showed me a spring/coil type thingy..is there anyway of testing this before i buy the parts..alternatively, is there any other problems with this appliance i should look at? any help or advice is appreciated so to save me from earache from the dragon haha 😀

    is what he changed

with the plug out, take the top off, and youll see it poking out of the heater box on top

best way is to check it with a meter for continuity. and if faulty, replace it

just make sure you unplug it , cos trust me, it hurts

yeah thats the one….when you say test for continuitydo you mean simply put a circuit tester (on beep setting?) on each terminal..maybe a daft question but will it not show continuity anyway as the coil is not snapped? or is it the inside of it that breaks? thanks for the reply
