    The transformer in my illuminated bathroom mirror has failed and I’m having trouble finding a supplier that stocks a replacement. Its a Chia Chien ETC-150R 11.5v -150W circular model that’s mounted using a central screw. A Google search brings up the Chia Chien company website but I’ve had no joy finding a stockist. Can someone please point me in the direction of a UK supplier? I’d like to get an identical replacement for ease of mounting before I look at getting a different make.

    Not a subject we have dealings with to be honest. For the most part you need to ask the question from an Electrical Wholesaler like WF or City Electrical Factors. However if you look HERE you can get this type of transformer to suit the output voltage and wattage you need. It’s unlikely you can source a like for like replacement short of buying a whole new mirror otherwise. 🙁

    Thanks Martin, I’m pretty sure I’ll end up just getting an equivalent transformer as there’s a fair bit of space behind the glass to modify the fitting.
