ParticipantI own the above machine. It is the type with 4 green function lights on the top left hand of the front panel. At the moment the machine will not start. On selecting start the machine stalls for a few seconds and the extreme left green LED starts to flash. Can anyone identify the fault. I would also like a break down of what the different combination of fault lights signify for future refererence.

First light flashing indicates a flooded base. The machine may have oversoaped due to using combination tablets or there could be an internal leak.
Unplug, place some towels on the floor and tilt to one side. If water runs out that confirms the base is flooded.
Try it again, if fault returns in short order then the leak needs isolating and fixing.

Dear iadom thanks very much for your reply. I had actually established water was in the base and I cleaned it out exercised the float swith and lo she runs!. Iam running through a cycle at the moment looking for leaks. Any data on typical leak areas on this machine? Do you know the other fault light info? Thanks again Gas turbine.
Update as I write can not see any leak during the current cycle I am hoping your over soaping theory is correct diagnosis.September 28, 2010 at 4:07 pm #331397iadom

I do know all of the other fault codes but as there are at least 9 and I have the tea to make, footy to watch, calls to answer you will forgive me if I don’t spend ages typing them all out. 😉
We are not going anywhere so just pop in here and ask any time you have a problem. 8)
Changing to separate detergent, rinse aid, salt (if required ) or trying the Fairy dishwasher products might help. 5 in 1 tablets are known to cause oversoaping as is opening the door mid cycle.

Thanks again iadom. Can find no obvious leak so will continue to monitor. Interstingly we were using 5 in 1 tablets but untill your comment I had not even realised I was putting additional salt rinse aid etc in the macjhine! I hope I do not have to ask for further assistance on the fault lights if I do Iknow where to come. All the best Gasturbine.
