ParticipantHi Folks
Orig went to this because it was restarting program but when I tested it, it was sticking on wash program while counting down and hanging at 1min then restarting.
Tested heater and all seemed fine – even checked to make sure it was heating but earth res on motor low and know this can cause probs with timing. Clearned end frame etc and all ok.
Cust phone and still playing up so asked her to do some wash tests as seemed intermitant.
30deg wash ok any higher than 40deg then sticks on wash while countin down again.
It would appear from what she says that the m/c is not getting up to temp altho the heater comes on and warms the water to about 30deg whatever the program. So looks like either heater or board might be breaking down after m/c been on for a while.
Anyone else had this problem – seems unlikely the heater breaking down in my xp so is it more likely to be board? Posibly NTC altho I would have thought this would have brought up an error code?
Any help or advise welcomed before a return visit.
Thanks
Mick

Sounds though the heater relay on the board may be playing up? Although having said that, when they do it means no supply to the heater at all. Are you sure the heater is firing up? It’s either PCB or heater I reckon.

Hi folks
Thanks for the replies folks
Yes heater is firing up Martin – when I tested on first call put a “clip on” ampmeter on wiring as i wasnt sure if it was hot water heat or the heater was duff.
Just wondered what the probability of heater breaking down was – my experiance is heater works or doesn’t not had any experiance of a heater breaking down but there could always be a first time 🙂 – Just wondered if anyone else had this?
Would have thought if it was a NTC prob m/c would either go through prog without heating or overheat?
Think best way forward if no one experianced this before is to get cust to put on 60deg wash b4 i get there and I think I can access heater from under m/c and check continuity when it stops heating.
Thanks
Mick
